As part of this program these organizations work to connect the different intersections of the community and encourage thoughtful progress. They specialize in supporting marginalized groups, developing young leaders and supporting social change.
Arianna’s Center
Arianna’s Center’s Mission is to engage, empower and lift up the trans community of South Florida. We place a special emphasis on the most marginalized, including the Trans Latinx community, undocumented immigrants, people living with HIV and AIDS, and those who have experienced incarceration.
Believe in Me Foundation
Our mission is to provide a powerful and influential environment for the youth of South Florida to achieve success, while honoring the life of Elkino Watson Sr. We also emphasize on the importance of Education, Violence Prevention, Health & Wellness, and Community Service, by hosting interactive events that provide a high volume of resources to the community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Broward
Each time Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs a child with a role model, we start something incredible: a one-to-one relationship built on trust and friendship that can blossom into a future of unlimited potential. And thanks to the first-ever nationwide impact study of a mentoring organization, we have the facts to prove it.
Breakthrough Miami
Breakthrough Miami uses a unique “students-teaching-students” model to create a rigorous, vibrant learning community, where highly motivated, traditionally underrepresented 5th-12th grade students are supported to achieve post-secondary success and emerging leaders are inspired to become the next generation of educators and advocates.
Consulate General of Israel
The mission of the Consulate is to promote the interests of the State of Israel in the area of our jurisdiction. We are here to foster cooperation and partnerships with the citizens and governments of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Puerto Rico, in the realms of policy issues, economic affairs, public information, media, culture and other aspects of community relations.
Hialeah Pride
Future Bright Minds is a 501 (c) 3 non profit. We grant college scholarships to benefit LGBTQI+ High School Seniors and their high school senior student allies in the MIami Dade County Public School district. There will always be one scholarship guaranteed to be granted to a city of Hialeah Public School Student. Our Vision is in helping and supporting the scholarship recipient with their education is they will pay it forward back into their community and continue the circle of giving and helping our LGBTQI+ community thrive. Funds for Future Bright Minds are mostly raised through our biggest fundraiser Hialeah Pride, which takes place during LGBTQ month in October.
Kiwanas Club of Little Havana
The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana established the Kiwanis of Little Havana Foundation in 1987 with the mission to further assist the financially undeserved Hispanic youth of Miami-Dade County. Since it’s inception, the Foundation has provided thousands of children each year with the opportunity to learn, dream, grow, succeed and thrive through education, technology, health and overall goodwill programs.
Miami Beach Pride
Miami Beach Pride brings together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, their friends, allies, and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBTQ+ community. This Mission is realized by envisioning, planning and executing a roster of events and activities that are as diverse as the community itself, including activations centering on entertainment, events, arts, culture and civic and social engagement

At The Mission Continues, we’re on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities. Our programs deploy veteran volunteers to work alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, tackle food insecurity, foster neighborhood identity, and more.
North Miami Beach Police & PAL & Tour De Force
The North Miami Beach Police Athletic League (NMBPAL) mission purpose is to engage the youth of our community through sports and educational activities with a Law Enforcement; in an effort to build positive relationships and prevent juvenile delinquency.
Perez Art Museum (PAMM)/Art Detectives
Our mission is to be a leader in the presentation, study, interpretation, and care of international modern and contemporary art, while representing Miami-Dade and cherishing the unique viewpoint of its peoples. Through our exhibitions and programs, we aim to encourage everyone to see art as an incentive for genuine human interaction, communication, and exchange.
Special Olympics Florida
The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau
Created by the Board of Broward County Commissioners in 1987, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB) is a governmental agency funded by a portion of the tax on hotel rooms. The staff of the GFLCVB promote the Greater Fort Lauderdale area as a premier year-round leisure and meeting destination.
United Negro College Fund (UNCF)
UNCF’s mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who, because of UNCF support, become highly-qualified college graduates and to ensure that our network of member institutions is a respected model of best practice in moving students to and through college.
Urban League of Broward County
The Urban League of Broward County is advancing the lives of nearly 14,000 individuals annually through six verticals of service; education, entrepreneurship, jobs, community justice, housing, and health. Our transformation solutions have life-changing effects that create equity and parity, facilitating economic opportunity and stability and uplifting individuals.
